How To: Make Mineralized Eyeshadow More Vibrant

Hi girls!

There was a time when mineralized makeup were all the rage and I am sure that a lot of you have at least one mineral makeup item in your stash.

Mineralized eyeshadow are shimmery and very pretty but do you know that you can take it up a notch and make the colors more vibrant? Read on to find out how..

What you'll need:

1. A small amount of water. A cap full will do.

2. A flat shader makeup brush.

3. A piece of tissue.

4. Your mineralized eyeshadow of choice..

How to:

1. Dip your flat shader makeup brush in a bit of water

2. Dab the brush on a tissue until its merely damp instead of dripping wet.

3. Use the damp brush to apply your mineralized eyeshadow as usual and you're done!

Dab the excess water off on a tissue...

Before: With a dry makeup brush..

After: The one on the right was applied with a damp makeup brush.
It's amazing how huge the difference is right?

Do's and Don'ts:

Do not use this technique on regular, non-mineralized eye shadows.

Do dampen the brush and NOT the eyeshadow itself.

Do Not use a sopping wet brush on your eyeshadow..

I hope you girls find this useful and try it out. Cheers!
