Za Eyes Vibrante Review...

Olla girls,
I was window shopping (well, I had intended to only window shop) at Center Point on Monday and decided to have lunch with a friend of mine. While waiting for said friend, I got a little bored and since I was quite close to Red City (2nd floor) I decided check out the Sale there. Big mistake!

There was a Za display just inside the entrance and I saw '50%'.. Now as a girl, I am wired to feel it's impossible not to take a closer look at products on discounts. My eyes were drawn to two palettes which were absolutely pretty.. It's the Za Eyes Vibrante eyeshadow in E2 and E3. As you can guess, I bought both.

What? It's like buy 1 and get 1 free. How can I resist that? (Chewah, alasan tu bah..). I felt over the moon and felt like sleeping with them that night, not unlike how our parents would sleep with their new shoes when they were little (I'm guessing all of our parents have told that story to us who 'have it easy'). I'm digressing..

Anyway, I've tried it out and this is my review on them.

 E2

The E2 palette is almost similar to the E3 palette except that the former is slightly darker than the latter. I tried the E2 yesterday and I love it! It's so appropriate for everyday wear and is practically fool proof. For those who are just starting to wear makeup or those who like to keep it simple with just a wash of color, E2 is the palette for you.

 E3

I tried the E3 palette today and I don't know why but the color is a bit difficult to apply it seems which is weird since both are the same formula. Even with an eye primer, it's a bit hard to apply and requires patience. Both colors are pretty but I think I prefer the E2 palette compared to the E3 palette. Oh well, when it comes to color it's all about personal preference.

All in all I don't regret buying these palettes and I'll be looking forward to the end of the month to get more. It's affordable too, retailing at RM29.90. Red city is having the 50% discount until the end of September so if you're interested in getting them make sure to do so before then.

Oh, Red City is also having discounts on other products and things like combs, hair brushes, foundation sponges and such. The discounts are up to 80% so if you need the things like I mentioned above, go on and check it out. That's all from me for now. Cheers!

September Product Review..

Hi Y'all,
This post is about my product reviews for the month of September 2010 which includes a few products from Maybelline Cosmetics, The Face Shop and The Body Shop. Lets get started...

Maybelline Volume Express Cat Eyes Mascara (Hello Kitty Ltd Edition)
I have tried the Cat Eyes mascara before and I LOVE IT! The wand is like a comb so it's really easy to manage. It volumizes my lashes, lengthens it like crazy and is the only mascara so far that maintains the curl in my lashes until the end of the day. It's easy to remove provided if you use a makeup remover as it's waterproof.  The Hello Kitty Limited Edition is just irresistible to me because I love Hello Kitty. It retails at RM36.90 if I'm not mistaken (definitely below RM40.00) and this Limited Edition comes only in black color. Two thumbs up from me for this mascara. Available at Watson only. I got mine from the Watson at 1 Borneo.

It's so cute!

The Body Shop Vanilla Eau De Toilette (Spray)
Okay, I'm the type who loves food related scents like Vanilla, Cinnamon, Honey and Strawberries so it's no wonder that I really, really adore this scent from The Body Shop. I had loved this since I was a teenager and it got discontinued for some reason. Boy was I really bummed out. When I saw it on display recently I almost did a Happy Dance. Seriously! I knew I had to had it. If you're into food related scents like me, this is definitely a must-have. You'll be smelling scrumptious all day long! I think it retails for RM46 but I got it at 20% off during the recent Raya Sale.

The smell is absolutely delicious..

The Face Shop's Lovely ME:EX Eyeshadows
These shadows come in a variety of colors and formula's and finishes. Some of the shadows are powder and others are cream. Part of the collection are matte while others have glitter or shimmer in them. They retail for RM19.90 each AND a separate empty palette of four (retailing at RM14.90) is available if you want to put all of your fave shades in one palette. I find that the powder shadows don't really last long on my lids even with an eye primer on and it's really dusty so it has a lot of fall-out on my cheeks which is a negative thing for me.. It's unfortunate really because I was really excited when I saw the great colors they have in the collection. Oh well...

The Silver shade has a pink sheen to it and is really pretty..

That's all for now. I hope you enjoy this and find it helpful. If you have any questions or have anything to add to this post, please feel free to do so in the comment section. Cheers!
