Project 10 Pan: Fail!

OMG... You guys don't even know how embarrassing this is for me to tell you guys. Yes, I failed my project 10 pan. I didn't even last for up to a month! Argh! Talk about lack of willpower and discipline..

I am not trying to make up puny excuses to justify my failure but I think I owe it to myself as well as you guys to do kind of like a postmortem on why so that I may learn from my mistakes.

Aside from the obvious reasons, the other reason why I think it didn't work out was because of my choice in products. They were all either products that I had once loved but no longer do because I have found something better, products that I never used because it was bought on a whim or products that I don't feel are getting enough love because they are mediocre at best.

In other words, all the products were old ones and not one were my current favorites. They were picked out of feeling of obligation although I did not realize it at that time. After a while I began to feel as if makeup was a drag to do... A burden even, simply because I don't have anything that I was looking forward to wearing every single day.

I will be attempting to do this project again but not until after MAC's Cham Pale Collection and Stylishly Yours Collection is out and over with.. I'm so looking forward to this collection. Hehe.. Cheers!

Project 10 Pan

Hi everyone!

After looking through my make up collection I decided that I may have a little more than I might need and I know deep inside that if I don't do something about it and just keep on buying and not finishing any products, I will have to throw some products away and the idea of throwing away makeup that I had bought is not something that I am able to swallow especially since said makeup is thrown out because of my own negligence.

With that being said I have decided to embark on a personal project called Project 10 pan. What is project 10 pan? Project 10 Pan is a personal ban that one puts on one's self from buying beauty related-products until one has hit pan (the bottom of a product contained in a pan like eye shadows, powders or blushers) or completely finished up all of the selected 10 products.

So let me show you the 10 products that I have selected for this project:

I just noticed that everything I listed down from The Body Shop is in number 04.. LOL.. I did not do that on purpose.. :)

My version of this project will be according to these rules:

I will not buy any makeup, skin care or body care until I have hit pan on all pan products/ finished up all tube products.

The exception to the rule above will be exempted on two conditions:

The beauty related product that I'm buying is something that I need to use everyday such as makeup remover, etc.

The product that I'm buying is something that I do not have in my collection, is exceptionally unique/good/multipurpose  AND is limited edition.
